Palmeri

The story of "Palmeri" begins with the Lutri family. Since the 15th century, this noble family has left its mark in southern Sicily. Thus, the "Palazzo Lutri" in the center of Avola still bears witness to this family's legacy. Palmeri was for a long time the summer residence of the family and its lands have always been dedicated to agriculture. In 2002 Erika and Ueli Breitschmid-Heiniger were able to purchase Palmeri. Continuing in a natural way the family tradition of practicing organic viticulture, already successfully practiced in Switzerland. Palmeri Wines: Elegant and timeless We were the first organic wine producer in Avola; organic, sustainable and known for its high quality wines.
