The aging takes place in second-passage barriques for 36 months, giving the wine considerable complexity and depth. The Giuseppe Tulone Merlot is ideal to accompany red meats, white meats, semi-matured cheeses and vegetables, offering a rich and satisfying taste experience. Welcome to the Winery Tulone, located in Sciacca (AG) in the heart of the Belice Valley, on the southern coast of Sicily, a short distance from the UNESCO site of the Valley of the Temples. Here, our vineyards enjoy exceptional sunny days and sea breezes that cool the vines. Since 2018, the activities in the fields and in the winery have been guided by Giuseppe Tulone, heir to the family tradition. We cultivate the Grillo and Merlot vineyards in the two Contrade of Forficicchia and Gaddimi. Our winery occupies a modest space, sufficient for the equipment necessary for a minimum processing of the grapes, guaranteeing the achievement of a "good, clean and fair" product, which reflects Giuseppe's values: respect for nature and the health of consumers. In the field we manage the vineyard following the principles of organic farming, with a strong commitment to the safeguarding of the environment in 2022.
