The Lombardo family, farmers for over two generations, carry on a tradition of producers and winemakers, which began in the sixties when they started to vinify their own grapes in the cellar located in an ancient baronial fief surrounded by vineyards, in which the vocation of the territory, the passion for the land, the interest and enthusiasm for innovations that have strengthened the ancient and deep connection with the agricultural tradition of our territory are respected.

The Lombardo Winery extends between the hills and plains of Nisseno, with an area of about 60 hectares, of which 40 are cultivated with Nero d’Avola and Syrah at an altitude of about 550 mt a.s.l. in a territory very suitable for viticulture, with medium-textured clayey calcareous soils and a warm Mediterranean climate characterized by day-night temperature changes that precede the harvest and allow for better phenolic ripening.
