Cottanera

Since 1960, we have lived and cultivated with passion and respect the volcanic land, difficult and at the same time generous. Whole families work for us, especially women who, according to the tradition of Etna, possess the right delicacy in the care of the vineyards and in the choice of the bunches.
Knowledge is passed down from generation to generation. In the vineyards almost all interventions, including the harvest, are done by hand. For us, making wine means respect for the territory, trying to make the most of its potential without ever distorting it. We want to establish on Etna a stronghold of innovative viticulture that aims at quality and can translate into wine the voice of the territory, enhancing the differences that each single district gives to the grapes.
