Licciardello

Transform our company into a stable and self-sufficient agricultural organism, from breeding animals to fertilize the soil, to growing plants to self-produce biodynamic preparations to that of feed crops; Produce wines that respect the health of the consumer and the universal balances of nature as much as possible, using only natural-derived preparations in the vineyard, completely excluding sulfur, copper and the use of SO2 (sulfur dioxide) in the cellar. I want to make wines that respect the tradition of my territory, avoiding at all costs the standardization of taste. For this reason, I have decided to produce different wines made with different methods that can tickle, on every occasion, all the strings of human emotion. Only ecologically intensive viticulture guarantees biodiversity and protects microclimates. We protect our forests, our hedges and our "sciare" to ensure the hydrogeological balance of the territory and the activity of a multitude of natural enemies of pests. We support the principle of the pedo-climatic typicality of the districts for which each terroir, depending on the exposure, altitude and particular characteristics of the volcanic sands accumulated over the years, gives the fruit a specific set in terms of quality and therefore a different taste to the wine. In the years when the wine presents strong organoleptic imbalances (excessive or low acidity, high or low sugar degree, etc.) we try to rebalance the taste parameters in a completely natural way, wisely combining wines from different districts at different altitudes, thus making diversity the strength of harmony.
