Salvatore Marino

The project of my Farm started in 2017, made of study, passion, dedication, but above all, great love for the vineyard, for ancient traditions, for respect for the earth and its natural balance. The story, which involves five generations linked to viticulture and wine production, begins in Pachino, a place where the culture of grape cultivation is an ancient, millennial art. WINE MARKS MY LIFE "Wine is made in the vineyard" according to the old saying passed down to me by my grandparents, and my vineyards are in Contrada Buonivini, not far from the Vendicari marshes. The vineyards are planted as small trees and the nature of the soils predisposes them to the cultivation of the vine and the production of wine in a natural way. I respect biodiversity and the lunar calendar helps me choose the right time for work still done by hand. THE HOE AND THE SCISSORS are the tools I use the most. Mature organic manure and the practice of green manure are the only fertilizations used.
