Guccione

The feud of Cerasa, once 500Ha, was mainly divided into cereal crops, livestock farming and the vine was grown only for a production of wine for family use. During the First World War, my great-grandfather decided to increase the production of wine grapes to avoid pressures and thefts due to the black market of wheat, dedicating part of the building to a cellar, which unfortunately was destroyed with the Belice earthquake. From a young age, my grandmother with her stories, continued to cultivate in me the dream of returning to make wine at Cerasa. Biodynamics for me is the only practice that allows to take care of and enhance the four elements that contribute to making a wine unique. Adding with a conscious gesture the fifth and fundamental element which is the work of the winemaker. The company is located between San Cipirello and Piana degli Albanesi, in the municipality of Monreale at 500 meters above sea level.
