Todaro

La nostra storia ha radici lontane. Una passione tramandata da generazione in generazione che si è arricchita nel tempo. Siamo Giuseppe, classe 1988, e Adriano Todaro, classe 1991, forti degli studi in ambito agrario e dell’esperienza acquisita da papà Calogero, puntiamo al duro lavoro in vigna ed in cantina per ottenere importanti risultati qualitativi «Il vino per noi è come una persona cara da trattare con cura e dedizione in ogni momento, dalla potatura alla raccolta effettuata a mano fino all’invecchiamento in barriques di rovere francese». La nostra proprietà si estende per 25 ettari nella Valle dello Jato (Pa) con altimetrie che variano dai 400 ai 700 m slm. Le caratteristiche specifiche di questo terroir erano già note in epoca pre-romana: sulla cima dell’omonimo monte, infatti, era presente una ricca colonia jatina che coltivava vigne e da esse ne traeva il prezioso vino. Proprio in questa terra coltiviamo i vigneti con sensibilità rispettando la naturalità delle colture, dalla cura delle uve in tutti i processi, dai filari alla bottiglia, nascono i nostri vini Todaro.
