Assuli

Assuli, in Sicilian dialect "To the Sun", is located in the context of the Caruso family's lands, a beautiful natural area that extends over a property of about 130 hectares. The winery is the result of a slow and careful renovation of an ancient '700 farmhouse, respecting the original criteria in a structure with its needs for functionality and efficiency. And it is precisely the link with the territory that is the common thread of a story that began in 1948 when the Cav. del Lavoro Dr. Giacomo Caruso, a successful Sicilian entrepreneur and a reference point for the development of the local economy, understood the potential of the 'Perlato di Sicilia', a marble extracted on the nearby Monte Cofano. Parallel to the development in the building and stone sectors, the Caruso family has maintained strong roots, expanding their campaigns in the 2000s, already owned since the last century. Thanks to the scrupulous maintenance of traditional processing standards of native grapes, Assuli has obtained a production of excellent organic wines celebrated by numerous awards worldwide. Today the third generation Roberto, Nicoletta and Michele lead the company towards new goals, transferring into the bottle an ancient knowledge that is expressed in a wine of absolute genuineness and with an unmistakable character. Each bottle tells a fascinating story, spokesperson for the uniqueness that distinguishes Assuli.
