Description
Le Sette Aje
The wines Le Sette Aje are born in the heart of the Mediterranean, on the beautiful island of Sicily. A generous and overwhelming land, with intense light, an extraordinary ventilated and dry climate, ideal for producing intense, rich and full-bodied wines, with unique fragrances and aromas. Wines that fully reflect the unique and authentic taste of Sicily. Five hectares of land host native varieties from the west area of Sicily: the Grillo, the main of our crops, to which are added Catarratto B.L., the Moscato Zucco, the Carricante and the Nerello Mascalese. Le Sette Aje is a story of passion, family and tradition, a hundred years long and extended over seven hectares of land in sunny Sicily, along the banks of the Belìce river. An ancient story in the heart and recent on paper. It was the distant 1916 when grandfather Leonardo bought the first lands from a rich landowner known by the nickname of "Canaddunaschi" (literally, "dog with two nostrils" to indicate a person with a particular flair for business). Since then, three generations of passionate farmers and wine and oil artisans have followed, with grandfather Giovanni and father Leonardo. With the fourth generation, the passion has evolved into a more concrete form: Rosalia, Cristina, Agata and Gabriella, under the watchful eye of father Leonardo, mother Nina and grandmother Rosalia, decide to give life to Le Sette Aje, managing the company in concert with the harmony and harmony that only a family business ensures.
