The Destro Spumante Metodo Classico Brut Saxanigra is a prestigious Sicilian wine, made with 100% Nerello Mascalese grapes from the northern slope of Etna. This sparkling wine stands out for its long aging of 96 months, which gives it a unique complexity and depth. The Etna Spumante DOC denomination guarantees the origin and quality of this wine, which represents one of the oenological excellences of Sicily. With an alcohol content of 12%, the Destro Spumante Metodo Classico Brut has a fine and persistent perlage, accompanied by an aromatic bouquet that ranges from floral notes to hints of dried fruit and bread crust. The volcanic soil rich in minerals of Etna gives the wine a distinctive minerality, which is reflected in a fresh and savory taste. The harvest takes place at the end of September, with a manual collection of the grapes in crates, followed by cooling to preserve the aromas. Soft pressing and white vinification allow to obtain a must of great purity. This sparkling wine is ideal to accompany appetizers, fish dishes, shellfish, mollusks and seafood, enhancing the flavors with its freshness and liveliness. It is recommended to serve it at a temperature of 6 °C to fully appreciate its organoleptic characteristics. The Destro Spumante Metodo Classico Brut Saxanigra represents a sensory journey through the flavors and aromas of Sicily, a wine that tells the story and the wine tradition of Etna, a unique territory in the world.
