WE CULTIVATE BEAUTY. HILL, VOLCANO, SEA, EARTH. The history of the Tasca d’Almerita family in Sicily is written in the land that has been preserved and passed down for eight generations. With the deep respect that must be given to tradition and always looking towards the future. 200 years of history, "slowly maturing". At the mother estate Regaleali, 550 hectares in the heart of Sicily owned by the Tasca d’Almerita family since 1830, over the years 4 other estates have been added: Capofaro, in Salina, Tascante on Etna, the historic Whitaker estate on the ancient island of Mozia and Sallier de La Tour, in Monreale. Each estate has its own distinct personality and tells a different story of Sicily. Next to the vineyards grow olive trees, wheat fields and almond trees. In the gardens, pastures, and orchards, men and women work to keep up with the seasons and to produce the best fruits. Each with its own character, each with its own rhythms. Today the greatest challenge is to preserve these places to leave them intact for future generations, in the sign of constant attention to the safeguarding of each individual ecosystem.
