Winemakers since 1867, our story begins thanks to our great-grandfather Santo Di Maio, who, after returning from Argentina, continued to cultivate the family vineyards, expanding both their production and area. Mixed vineyards of carricante and nerello mascalese that survived the phylloxera of the late 800s. The same vineyards, from which everything began, are now under our management. Our grandfather Alfio, Santo's son, who passionately contributed to keeping the vineyards in excellent health, handed us this precious heritage. In 2018, we decided to value the sacrifices of our ancestors, believing in the potential of our territory, Etna, and our centuries-old vineyards, starting to vinify our grapes.
