Tenute Bosco Etna Bianco Piano dei Daini is a Sicilian wine of great elegance and complexity, produced on the slopes of Mount Etna, on the northern side. This Etna Bianco DOC is composed of 90% Carricante grapes, with a blend of 10% Catarratto, Grecanico and Inzolia, indigenous varieties that give the wine a unique personality. The production area, characterised by volcanic soils, gives the wine a distinctive minerality and vibrant freshness. The winemaking process begins with the exclusive use of the flower must, separated from the skins in a 0 bar press and cleaned from the coarse lees statically at cold temperatures. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature between 15 and 17°C for at least 10 days, ensuring the aromatic expression of the grapes. The ageing process takes place in steel and wood for at least 4 months, with the fine lees kept in suspension to enrich the structure of the wine. A 500-litre French oak tonneau with very light toasting is used, which gives the wine delicate and complex notes. After ageing, the wine rests in the bottle for a minimum of 2 months, further developing its aromatic bouquet. On the palate, Tenute Bosco Etna Bianco Piano dei Daini is fresh and harmonious, with notes of citrus, white flowers and a pleasant mineral savouriness. It is a versatile wine, ideal as an aperitif and perfect in combination with shellfish, crustaceans, fish and fresh cheeses. The recommended serving temperature is between 8 and 10°C, to best enhance its organoleptic characteristics. With an alcohol content of 12.5%, this Sicilian white wine represents an excellent expression of the Etna territory, capable of winning over even the most demanding palates.
