Tenute Bosco Etna Bianco Vico is a Sicilian white wine of great elegance and complexity, produced on the northern slopes of Etna. This Etna Bianco DOC is made 100% from Carricante grapes, a native variety that gives the wine a unique personality. The volcanic terroir of Etna gives this wine a distinctive minerality, enhanced by a careful winemaking process that respects local traditions. The bunches are partly destemmed and subjected to light pressing, using only the flower must. The skins are separated in the press at 0 bar and the must is statically clarified in the cold, then fermented at a controlled temperature between 13 and 15 ºC for at least 10 days. The ageing takes place for 4 months in steel and in 500 litre lightly toasted French oak tonneaux, keeping the finer lees in suspension to enrich the wine's aromatic profile. Subsequently, the wine rests in the bottle for a period of 15-18 months, developing a complexity and depth of flavour that make it ideal for accompanying aperitifs, shellfish, crustaceans, fish and fresh cheeses. The recommended serving temperature is between 8 and 10 °C, to best enhance its organoleptic characteristics. With an alcohol content of 12.5%, Tenute Bosco Etna Bianco Vico presents itself as a balanced and versatile wine, perfect for those seeking an authentic and refined oenological experience.
