The grapes, harvested in 13-15 kg crates, are immediately cooled to 8 °C to preserve their freshness and organoleptic characteristics. After manual selection, the grapes are destemmed and subjected to a maceration on the skins for about 6 hours, followed by a soft pressing. The decanted must is then transferred and ferments at controlled temperatures between 15 and 17 °C in stainless steel tanks. The obtained wine matures on the fine lees for 10 months, until August, with bâtonnage every two weeks for the first six months. This process gives the wine considerable complexity and structure. Planeta Eruption 1614 Riesling is ideal to accompany starters, first courses, fish, shellfish, cold cuts and vegetables, and should be served at a temperature of 8/10 °C. Planeta Eruption 1614 Riesling Terre Siciliane IGT is a prestigious Sicilian wine, made 100% from Riesling Renano grapes grown in Castiglione di Sicilia. This white wine is an excellent representative of Sicilian viticulture, with an alcohol content of 13.5%. The volcanic sandy soil gives the wine a unique and distinctive minerality.
