Cusumano Altamora Etna Bianco is a Sicilian wine of great elegance and complexity. This Etna Bianco DOC is made 100% from Carricante grapes, a native variety that grows on the slopes of the northern side of Etna. The production area, characterized by volcanic soils, gives the wine a unique and distinctive minerality. The winemaking involves a gentle pressing of the grapes, followed by static decantation and racking. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 18°-20°C, ensuring the preservation of fresh and fruity aromas. Subsequently, the wine matures for 4 months on the fine lees in steel, before being bottled. The result is a white wine of great finesse, with an aromatic bouquet that ranges from floral notes to hints of citrus and white fruit. On the palate, it is fresh and savoury, with a good structure and a persistent finish. Cusumano Altamora Etna Bianco is ideal to accompany appetizers, fish dishes, shellfish and molluscs. It is recommended to serve it at a temperature of 8/10 °C to fully appreciate its organoleptic characteristics. With an alcohol content of 12.5%, this wine represents a perfect expression of the Sicilian terroir and the winemaking tradition of Etna.
