Tenuta Valle delle Ferle

Just a few kilometers from Caltagirone, fifty-year-old vineyards of Nero d'Avola and Frappato extend for about 10 hectares within the DOCG zone "Cerasuolo di Vittoria". The age of the vines constitutes an important distinctive element, thanks to their greater ability to express the characteristics of the territory, a value that adds to the environmental qualities, given by the pedoclimatic characteristics of the territory, ideal for vine cultivation. In 2016, Claudia Sciacca and Andrea Annino embarked on their exciting project, consistently investing resources and passion to create wines that can combine the natural winemaking tradition of the places, respect for the earth and its balance, the originality of the native grape varieties grown organically, elegance and harmony.
