Gigliotto

In the sandy soils with clay substrates of the Gigliotto Estates, twenty hectares of vineyard have been planted. All the vineyards have a southern exposure at an altitude of about 400 m a.s.l. and with a strong influence of the winds coming from the Mediterranean Sea, which is only a few kilometers away as the crow flies. The vineyards are all trellised with an average density of about 4,000 stocks per hectare and raised in guyot. This technique allows for a production of fruit from new shoots each year, ensuring a longer life of the vineyard and a better quality of the grapes.
