Description
Cantina Marilina
Cantina Marilina is an organic winery in the southeast of Sicily, Noto. Founded in 2001, it is now managed by the female face of the Paternò family. The company's goal is to make guests feel at home, guiding them on a technical-sensory journey, made up of historical vineyards, concrete vats, organic wines, and typical Sicilian cuisine with zero-kilometer ingredients. The Mediterranean climate and limestone soils are factors that amplify the quality of the grapes in this corner of the earth, along with a philosophy oriented towards revisiting traditional production methods. A climate that is unmatched due to its fortunate geographical location even further south than Tunis and benefits from the beneficial effects of the Ionian Sea on one side and the Mediterranean Sea on the other. The "poor", limestone soil, which reflects the heat and light of the sun's rays in the summer season, is a real wonder for the organoleptic richness of the wines. Wines free from mechanisms offer perceptions that only distant epochs can boast.
