Description
Augustali
The farm Augustali is located in Sicily, between the provinces of Trapani and Palermo, in the center of the Gulf of Castellammare, in the most fertile part of Bosco Falconeria, between Alcamo and Partinico, a territory so dear to Frederick II of Swabia. The family's vineyards and olive groves extend over twelve hectares in the gentle hilly landscape that slopes down to the sea, once called the "garden" because it is fertile and evocative land. Immersed in a generous and lush nature, the farm offers guests a familiar and welcoming atmosphere. The winemaker Vincenzo Bambina and his wife Finella, a beekeeper and educational farmer, await you to share the rhythms, scents and flavors of the Sicilian countryside and participate together in pleasant nature walks among the vineyards and olive groves, interesting guided tours in the cellar with tastings of wines, oils and other typical products, experiences related to the grape harvest, olive picking and honey extraction. The Federico II vineyard boasts particularly favorable pedoclimatic conditions: average altitude, sandy soil, north exposure of the rows, mild seasons. Immersed among the company's vineyards, the cellar takes on the square shape of the typical Sicilian baglio. It encompasses all the company's philosophy: respect for the raw material and the surrounding territory, and great attention to the entire production chain.
