Description
Gorghi Tondi
Our "nature", what we are made of and what makes us who we are. Nature, the one that surrounds us, in which we live and work every day. The two are inextricably linked. Organic farming leads to a deeper relationship between the vine and the earth, thus characterizing the fruits with a "typicality" that embraces everything that nature can offer when it is left free to express itself. If the earth is not forced, working for it and not against it, it spontaneously gives its best fruits. The concept of organic in agriculture refers to a method of agricultural production that enhances the natural fertility of the soil ecosystem, the healthiness of the products and strengthens sustainability by avoiding the use of synthetic products such as pesticides and chemical fertilizers. The organic regime therefore provides for the banning of synthetic chemicals and also genetically modified organisms (GMOs) in the vineyard, as well as in the cellar, where more restrictive and stringent winemaking practices are in place compared to so-called "conventional" productions.
