Description
Halarà
Halarà comes from the Greek XaÀétpa and is a project born from a holiday spent in Greece between Francesco De Franco (A Vita, Cirò-Crotone). Corrado Dottori (La Distesa, Cupramontana-Ancona). Nino Barraco (Barraco. Marsala). Giovanni Scarfone (Bonavita, Faro-Messina). Stefano Amerighi (Stefano Amerighi. Cortona-Arezzo). 6 Winemakers united by a great friendship, who have decided to combine their visions in a real agricultural act, a two-hectare vineyard in the Abbadessa district in Marsala with Catarratto and Parpato, a rare and mysterious red grape variety recovered from oblivion. The vinifications are carried out by the nearby Nino Barraco and so far the wines produced are 3! "What is the Mediterranean? A thousand things together. Not a landscape, but countless landscapes. Not a sea. but a succession of seas. Not a civilization, but a series of civilizations stacked on top of each other". Femand Braudel This is the quote chosen by the protagonists of Halarà on the back label to tell their project, which as a fundamental assumption, needless to say, is the totally natural approach in the field, where the comparison and the continuous exchange of ideas, are creating a new agricultural organism: made of sharing and why not, of so much joy! We closely follow this "newborn" sure that over time it will give great satisfaction. The wine is made by the winemaker and when you drink it you can feel it very well, so it becomes fun to taste the wines of Halarà created by 12 hands!
