Tenute di Aglaea Etna Rosso Santo Spirito is a Sicilian wine of great elegance and complexity. Made 100% with Nerello Mascalese grapes, this Etna Rosso DOC comes from the northern slope of Etna, an area renowned for the quality of its wines. With an alcohol content of 14%, this red wine represents the best of Sicilian wine tradition. The volcanic soil gives the wine a unique minerality, while both fermentations, alcoholic and malolactic, take place in stainless steel tanks, ensuring extraordinary purity and freshness. After fermentation, the wine matures for 13 months in new 300-liter French barriques, with fine grain and medium toasting, which add complexity and depth to the aromatic profile. On the nose, there are notes of red fruits, spices and a slight hint of vanilla. On the palate, the wine is well balanced, with soft tannins and a long persistence. It is ideal to accompany poultry dishes such as guinea fowl, partridge, pheasant or pigeon, but it also pairs perfectly with white meats and game. The recommended serving temperature is between 14 and 18 °C, to best enhance its organoleptic characteristics. The winery adheres to the following FIVI, ensuring a constant commitment to the production of high-quality wines and respect for local wine traditions.
