Description
Tenuta Gatti
Excellence in winemaking, since 1825 Our Cuprani farm is a fertile 217-hectare estate nestled on the slopes of the Nebrodi Mountains, in a natural setting of great beauty, between Etna and the Aeolian Islands. An unspoiled corner of authentic Sicily, which tells, starting from as far back as 1825, the story of five generations of family and our strong, indissoluble and traditional relationship with this generous land. Cuprani hosts a wide variety of plantations: vineyards, citrus groves, chestnut groves, hazelnut groves and even flies but, always and among all the crops, those of the olive and the vine represent a natural vocation of the territory, from ancient times, and an important family commitment of which we are particularly proud. Leading the revival of these districts is Nicolas Gatti Russo who, after spending most of his life in Argentina, in 2008 decides to re-establish himself in Sicily together with his wife Paula and their children, to give a new impetus to the company in the name of excellence in winemaking.
