The Agricultural Company Pupillo was founded in 1909, occupying the extension of the ancient Feudo Targia, a place rich in relics from the Greek, Roman, Arab and Norman periods, today fully integrated into the Archaeological Park of the Dionysian Walls. The fertile and varied soils of Targia have always contributed to excellent agricultural production, becoming renowned over the centuries also for the production of high-quality wines. Nino Pupillo has dedicated more than twenty years to reviving the wine production of Targia. Encouraged by tutelary deities of the caliber of Gino Veronelli, Carlo Hauner and Giacomo Tachis, he created his first label in the 90s, the Solacium. The mission to cultivate and revitalize the white muscat in Siracusa is now in the hands of his children Carmela and Sebastiamo, also committed to the new fronts of innovation and environmental sustainability.
