Description
Bruchicello
Our company was founded in 1976 in Sicily, in Salaparuta in the province of Trapani and initially consisted of a few hectares of vineyard cultivated with Catarratto, only between 1996 and 1997 were two other varieties planted: Nero d’Avola and Cabernet Sauvignon. Today it has reached an area of 5 hectares and continues to maintain the same varieties, from which exclusively pure wines are produced; the same philosophy, a small family-run company and last but not least, the same goal, that of producing quality wines, through organic cultivation, the selection of the best grapes directly in the field, low yield and new winemaking techniques, all in respect of tradition and the environment. The name Bruchicello, present on all labels and used as a registered trademark for our wines, derives from the name of the district, Vruchicelle, today Salavecchia, where the vineyards were planted. The district is located on the sunny hills of the Belìce valley, home to ancient civilizations, from the Sicilians to the Elimi, Greeks and Arabs.
