Description
Barone Beneventano
Protection of the millennial Etna wine tradition. Respect and care for Etna's incredible natural heritage. Research and innovation, in balance with the previous values, to ensure: quality, constant improvement and diversification. The result of heroic viticulture, these wines aim to convey all the peculiarities of the South-East slope of Etna. Here, the volcanic sandy soil, the sea winds and the strong temperature changes, allow to best express the characteristics of the ancient native varieties of Etna. Roberto and Pierluca Beneventano della Corte, father and son, have always worked in the world of quality wine, selecting and working with some of the best wine producers in Europe. With this project, the intention was to return to Sicily to the place where their family has its roots to become producers, recovering semi-abandoned vineyards, protecting the tradition and nature that distinguish Etna, to contribute to the wine revolution that this incredibly vocated region is experiencing.
