Description
Armosa
The farm Armosa is located in the territory of the municipality of Scicli in the province of Ragusa. It was established in 2002 with the aim of bringing back the cultivation of wine grapes in a territory strongly suited and of ancient winemaking tradition. The company's logo itself wants to express this rooting in the territory by stylizing the three valleys of Scicli. In 2003, the first vineyard of Nero d'Avola, the quintessential Sicilian native grape variety, was planted. The wines of the Armosa company come exclusively from their own Nero d'Avola grapes, vinified in purity in the owned winery, adjacent to the vineyards. Our desire is to create a quality and enjoyable wine that tells the story of a land and the cultures that have alternated there, and that expresses the territory with its scents and flavors with its personality.
