Cantoneri

Cantoneri was born in 1997, when Carmelo and Rosa purchased a rustic villa in Solicchiata, surrounded by a plot with an old vineyard known as "Tenuta della Dainara". Since 2011, a process of expansion and restoration of the old facilities has been started. Today the company expands, between 650 and 700 m. s.l.m. for about 20 hectares, of which 11 are vineyards. The name "Cantoneri" dates back to an ancient property, located in the Enna area, of an ancestor of the Assennato family and his three brothers. Given the height of the owners, it was called "Land of the four corners", referring to the corners of the buildings, i.e. the corners.
