The agricultural company "Emilio Sciacca Etna Wine" was established in 2015 as a decisive act of a love story that began many years earlier and has Etna and Etna's wine as its protagonist. Emilio, already in the field of naturalistic tourism and wine tourism, after many years of research, study, and passion, finds a small plot of land with an ancient Palmento to be restored in the territory of Linguaglossa (North Etna) in the Martinella district and immediately falls in love with it. Today, the agricultural company Emilio Sciacca Etna Wine has one hectare of vineyard property, both in Linguaglossa and on the south side in Biancavilla, and another hectare under contract. These two hectares are directly and personally followed by the company throughout all the agronomic phases. We work both in the vineyard and in the cellar respecting nature, convinced that it is a traveling companion to be accompanied and not the object to be subjugated. Field treatments are based on sulfur and copper and where necessary we use green manure or organic fertilizers. We do not irrigate, and the harvest is manual. In the cellar, fermentations are spontaneous with indigenous yeasts, we do not filter and we do not clarify, and the use of sulfites is reduced to a minimum. Finally, we do not use plastic in the vineyard or in the packaging. Respect and Love for the territory and traditions, continuous research and commitment to sustainable agriculture practices and therefore the cultural promotion of a unique terroir in the world, make Emilio Sciacca Etna Wine a new point of reference in the wine-tourism panorama of Etna. A small but lively company that invites everyone within its walls to discover a wine made with volcanic passion, by those who have always loved Etna, designed to spread joy and cheerfulness.
