Baglio di Pianetto represents a dream that becomes reality: that of Count Paolo Marzotto who in 1997 founded the Company in Sicily, a land naturally suited to viticulture. We produce organic wines that enhance the unusually high altitude of the Pianetto Estate in the province of Palermo, through the savoir faire of the great French chateaux, a productive inspiration since the foundation. In Noto, at the Baroni Estate, we pursue a project dedicated to Nero d'Avola, which in Sicily finds its productive excellence precisely in that territory. The two Estates of Baglio di Pianetto are located at the two opposite corners of Sicily; altitudes and terroir diametrically opposed and distinct viticulture and winemaking techniques suitable for the diversity that unambiguously aim at the conservation of resources while minimizing the environmental impact.
