We are located in the Salice district and our vineyards are organized in terraces of traditional dry stone walls made of lava stone that start from an altitude of 530 meters and go up to over 700. The people who work with us are all from the area and know every secret of the viticulture of these places. We own 9 hectares, of which over 6 are already planted with vineyards. We mainly cultivate native grapes of the territory such as Carricante, Catarratto, Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio with the traditional method of the Etnean tree and spurred cordon. We also own a portion of ungrafted vineyard, centuries old, from which we obtain various types of grapes, even of varieties considered "relic". We are completing the renovation of an ancient 19th century wine press that will become our new winery, tasting room and where our guests can find accommodations with a breathtaking view. Our current production is about 35000 bottles that will reach about 50000 in the coming years. We have been working organically since the beginning of our activity and we apply a strict selection of grapes both in the plant and in the winery. Our pursuit of excellence knows no compromises or shortcuts.
