The Catalano family is well rooted in the territory of Gela, in southern Sicily, where it has been cultivating vines for 3 generations. Over the course of 60 years, it has witnessed the rediscovery and qualitative valorization of the native vines of the territory, to which it has always been dedicated. The big turning point came with the current owner of the winery, Rosario Catalano, who, after years of experience as an oenologist in important production realities of the Cerasuolo di Vittoria, returned to his father Totò's vineyards, creating the brand Catalano Viticoltori and beginning to bottle and independently market the bottles produced.
