The courage to be different was our starting point, to study the territory, to glean its secrets and discover the hidden qualities of these two grape varieties. The story of Castelluccimiano begins with our origins. We have studied and recovered old bush vineyards left from the great extension of the past, making them unique examples of the biodiversity of the Valledolmo area. From the recovery of this heritage, our production philosophy was born. The wines produced from these grapes represent a rare example of territorial identity. The success achieved on the markets is a definitive confirmation of our idea of the territory. 75 hectares of vineyards distributed on the slopes and hollows of the mountains surrounding Valledolmo represent a unique native viticultural heritage for the history it represents. The ancient bush vineyards together with the more recent trellised ones, give life to a rare example of enhancement. The philosophy of environmental sustainability and natural organic farming allow to safeguard the viticultural biodiversity, largely made up of our agricultural gardens located between 700 and 1050 meters s.l.m. in the districts of Castelluzzi, Rovittello, Miano, Sprella, Contrasto, Cifiliana, Acqua del corvo and Sciarazzi in the agro of Valledolmo.Castelluccimiano has been able to combine sustainable agriculture, experience and winemaking tradition, with the ability to imagine new stories that express, through the value of mountain viticulture, an authentic belonging to its territory.
