The history of our family establishes its roots in contrada Zuccari and in contrada Fargione, in the territory of Monreale. For four generations, from the early 1900s, we take care of our vineyards with love and hard work, since the great-grandfather Stefano gave birth to the family company. Today the fourth generation, led by Giuseppe, Enologo since 2018, has decided to undertake a path of valorization of Sicilian autochthonous varieties with the aim of producing local wines. In the heart of the DOC Monreale, in the territory of the Valle dello Jato, in the province of Palermo, stands our company, terroir called to the cultivation of the vine, where the Catarratto found its election range. We are on a hill at 300-350 m s.l.m. on medium clay soils. In the North, a mountainous ridge separates us from the Golden Conca, in the South we borders with the Belice valley, in the West we find the Gulf of Castellammare, while in the East San Cipirello and San Giuseppe Jato. At the center of this area is our farm with a living area of 20 hectares managed in biological regime. The different exposures of the vineyards and the consistent thermal excursions between day and night allow to preserve the acid and aromatic painting of the grapes. Pedo-climate conditions ideal for creating wines with unique characteristics.
