In the Contrada Rampante, between Solicchiata and Passopisciaro on the northern side of the volcano, was born Tenuta Solisciaro, property of De Bartoli Etna, DBE, an acronym that also recalls the meaning of Deep Bottom Earth. With 4 hectares of vineyard located between 743 and 769 meters above sea level, of which an hectare dedicated to Nerello Mascalese and Carricante, terroir reflects the authenticity and uniqueness of the northern part.
