Tenuta Stoccatello takes its name from the homonymous district, in the heart of the Bedlicina countryside and Western Sicily. The limestone soil distinguishes this area and, together with an altitude of about 400 meters above sea level, and the extraordinary wood of the Magaggiaro (the green lung of Belìce) are stories of a truly unique territory. A terroir that is the result of the combination and interaction of soils of different formation, soils and a typical Mediterranean climate, which has always been an ideal habitat for the cultivation of vine. Grillo and Nero d’Avola are the two cultivars on which Renzo Barbera has bet and that today give life to Anìmi and Avvocà, precisely to emphasize the deep bond with these lands so loved by the producer.
