In 2020, the Agricultural Company Barbanacoli was established, a new winery in Salina, Aeolian Islands, and more precisely in the Municipality of Malfa. Diego Taranto and Clara Schwartzenberg resume the cultivation of 2.5 hectares of vineyards planted 40 years ago, and always cared for in accordance with the rules of organic farming. Passion for the territory, drastic selection of the grapes are the principles that hold in the large valley Barbanacoli, the area where the vineyards are located, and which gave its name to the Company.
