The history of our winery on the border between Catania and Ragusa Immersed in a suggestive scenario, one of the most surprising in southeastern Sicily, along the Dirillo River valley on the borders between the municipalities of Licodia Eubea and the Iblea province, the estate extends over a vast area rich in history and traditions. Thanks to the generous climate, the heterogeneous composition of the soil and the particular solar exposure, vineyards and olive groves are expertly cultivated in it, which manage to give products rich in scents and typical aromas of the area. Gratitude is a feeling, a disposition of mind that involves affection for those who have done us good, memory of the benefit received and desire to be able to reciprocate it in some way. And this is what the Alessi brothers, owners of the company, did, dedicating their parents and in particular their father who has cared for the management of the "Giurfo" company over the years.
