Tenuta Stagliata is a young winemaking reality born from a long family tradition of agricultural entrepreneurship. The Tenuta Stagliata is located on the southern slope of Etna, in the territory of Belpasso, between 450 and 480 m s.l.m., extending twenty-two hectares, of which eight are vineyards with native grape varieties Nerello Cappuccio, Nerello Mascalese, Carricante and Grecanico Dorato. The ancient volcanic soils, the wide terraces facing south, the dry microclimate, the constant ventilation and the night temperature range, make the terroir of Tenuta Stagliata ideal for the cultivation of Nerello Cappuccio, an ancient Etna grape variety, which is grown as a bush and spurred cordon with traditional cultivation methods, using only copper and sulfur. The pure vinification, in red and rosé versions, enhances the rich varietal aromatic profile, which retains all its fragrance thanks to the use of steel containers for maturation, before refining in the bottle.
