Riofavara is a family-run winery in Val di Noto, in southeastern Sicily, located in the heart of the production region of the famous Sicilian grape variety Nero d'Avola. We have chosen to produce wines from natural and organic agriculture using exclusively native Sicilian grape varieties and moving away in the production of our wines from the concept of mono varietal! In this area, Nero d’Avola becomes the absolute protagonist and the district claims its historical primacy in the production of reds with an intensely Mediterranean character, generous in alcohol content but also rich in nuances and juiciness.
