In Solicchiata, a hamlet located a few kilometers from the Municipality of Castiglione di Sicilia on the North side of Etna, you will find Pietradolce. Here a story of passion and attachment to the land is told, the story of the Faro family and of a company that is one with its territory. Among brooms, birches and other indigenous Etna species, the company's vineyards stand out. The love for the land, respect for the ecosystem, as well as Etna traditions represent the heart of the company philosophy. The company has always used organic farming methods, without the use of pesticides or insecticides, aimed at environmental sustainability, both in the vineyard and in the cellar. The vines, largely made up of pre-phylloxera plants between 90 and 130 years old, are cultivated through meticulous artisanal work and are presented in the classic "bush" shape, characteristic of the Etna wine landscape. The identity of the company and the way of working coincide with the choice to prioritize quality over quantity, with the aim of enhancing the native Etna vines and producing markedly territorial wines.
