The farm is located in the village of Santissima Annunziata, a district of the municipality of Messina, in the northern area of the city. The farm is run by Antonio Ciccolo with the support of his sons Fabrizio and Francesco, all doctors by profession, but heirs to a deep and authentic passion for nature, agriculture and wine. The vineyard is located in a hilly area, on a plateau surrounded by a lush centuries-old pine forest, overlooking the fantastic scenery of the Strait of Messina. Two majestic centuries-old pines watch over the vineyard and the strait of sea in front, like two silent guardians... from here the FARO due pini takes its inspiration. The family-run management of the company allows for the best care in the vineyard, respecting traditions and advice handed down from grandparents, sometimes making innovative and courageous choices, while maintaining respect for the territory. The vineyard is made up of native grape varieties of nerello mascalese 60%, nerello cappuccio 20%, nocera 10% and sangiovese 10%. Training system used: spurred cordon, with modern staking. The harvest is carried out manually to ensure the maximum integrity of the bunches, key elements for the production of a wine of great character, elegance and taste: the FARO doc DUEPINI.
