Ancestral Farmer is the small estate of Giuseppe Mascoli, a producer who in 2015 launched his own wine project in the municipality of Malfa, on the beautiful island of Salina. Giuseppe started with a combination of unique ingredients: volcanic origin soils, old vines almost entirely on their own roots, a brackish and Mediterranean climate, and a varietal platform that includes Corinto Nero, Nerello Mascalese, Malvasia delle Lipari and Catarratto. From these peculiar premises, Giuseppe obtains sincere and genuine expressions, capable of transmitting the essence of Salina in the glass.
