The winery Giglio, vine growers for over three centuries, is now in its fourth generation with Tommaso, his children Marco, Mariagrazia and the oenologist Giovanni. Passion, tradition, innovation and quality are the values passed down from generation to generation by the Giglio family and today they are told through native wines of the Sicilian territory, under the quality brand Sicilia D.O.C. and I.G.P. Terre Siciliane. The winery is a testament to a deep-rooted connection with the territory and a business and family choice that ties Giglio to the Sicilian territory. The company, based in Mazara del Vallo (Sicily), has 15 hectares of vineyard, grown on trellises, with an average production of about 80 quintals/ha, thus obtaining excellent quality grapes. In its development policy, the company has set itself the goal of enhancing native grape varieties, such as Nero D'avola, Perricone, Grillo, Zibibbo, Grecanico and Catarratto, as well as planting international grape varieties Merlot, Syrah, Muller Thurgau and Chardonnay.
